Alliin is a cysteine derivative found in the cells of a garlic bulb. When the cells are mechanically damaged, alliin interacts with the enzyme alliinase (discovered in garlic in 1947 by the Swiss researchers Stoll and Siebek) to form allicin. Thus, alliin is a substance found in fresh garlic, so it is correct to speak of high alliin varieties of garlic as raw materials. While the finished Garlike product contains allicin, which is formed during the grinding process.
The shell of Garlike gelcaps blocks the pungent odor of garlic, and dissolves only when reaching the stomach. The gelcaps themselves are odorless, but a slight odor may appear during digestion. We do not use any chemical methods of processing raw materials, therefore our production solutions do not in any way reduce the effectiveness of natural garlic. The powder form is the most stabilized concentrated form of natural allicin. Liquid chlorophyll, parsley, basil, cinnamon or any dairy product can help completely get rid of the smell of garlic after ingestion.
We do not recommend Garlike for children under 10 years of age. Garlic is a biologically active product, and a child may be allergic to it. In young children, garlic can irritate the stomach lining, while the body has not yet developed the ability to produce the appropriate enzymes. This is especially true for children suffering from gastritis and other problems of the gastrointestinal tract.
The use of Garlike gelcaps is not recommended if you are pregnant or nursing;
have a fever (above + 38 ° C);
suffer from ulcer, gastritis, pancreatitis; disorders of the kidneys and genitourinary system (nephritis, cystitis);
have individual sensitivity to the product.
The shelf life of Garlike capsules is 24 months from the production. Store in a dark place at temperature from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C and relative humidity not more than 75%.
